Rebecca Clamp's Music Page
Rebecca singing

Rebecca has always had a strong interest in music, and from the age of 17 has been writing her own songs and accompanying herself on the piano. She has played several gigs in Cambridge, Lancaster and the Yatton Music Festival. After she graduated she spent some time focusing on her music and played at The Junction in Cambridge, supporting Ezio. She worked for two years at the Cambridge Arts Theatre, has written many more songs and in June 2004, produced, directed, acted and sang in a short play that she also wrote, called "The Cat and the Crayfish". She has been compared to Tori Amos or Alanis Morisette, but her style remains her own. Her other main influences have been Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits, Jeff Buckley and Ezio. Her lyrics, like those of all good writers, reflect her own experiences in a intelligent and poetic way.
She is currently living in Finland.
Rebecca now has her own web site where you can find details of her latest gigs and recordings.
